Welcome to the Your Welding Coach Learning Hub
Whether you’re learning to strike your first arc, preparing for a welding test, or trying to build a business around your skills, you’re in the right place.
My mission is simple: Skills pay the bills—but ownership builds wealth.
Pick a course below and let’s get to work.
Stick Welding Boot Camp
Level: Beginner
A structured path into stick welding — from striking your first arc through welding-position practice and plate-test prep. Covers arc control, flat welding fundamentals, fillet positions, vertical and overhead technique, and both 3G and 4G plate-test preparation.
Suggested next step: Structural Dual-Shield Flux Core Training
MIG Welding Training
Level: Beginner
Covers MIG welding fundamentals — machine setup, gun control, settings, and basic technique. This is one of the most widely used welding processes in fabrication, manufacturing, repair work, and entry-level jobs, making it a strong starting point for new welders.
Suggested next step: Introduction to TIG Welding or Structural Flux Core Training
Structural Welding — 3G and 4G Dual-Shield Flux Core
Level: Intermediate to Advanced
Structural test preparation using dual-shield flux core on a one-inch plate coupon. Covers coupon prep, fit-up, machine settings, gun angle and travel technique, vertical and overhead welding, fill and cap passes, common test mistakes, and 3G/4G qualification prep.
Suggested next step: Hands-on training, test preparation, or a consultation
Introduction to TIG Welding
Level: Beginner
An entry point into TIG welding — machine setup, tungsten prep, torch angle, arc-length control, filler-rod coordination, and hand technique for precision welding.
Suggested next step: Advanced TIG training or hands-on instruction
